Triangle

  1. Using a ruler, draw a triangle on one of the note cards given.
  2. Take a pen or pencil, and use the ruler to find and mark the midpoint of each of the sides of the triangle.
  3. Next, draw a line from each midpoint to its opposite vertex.
  4. When this is done, you should have three lines that intersect at the middle of the triangle. (The point of intersection is the center of the triangle.)
  5. Cut out the triangle carefully.
  6. Then, at the point of intersection, place the eraser end of pencil.
  7. Finally, if done correctly, you should be able to balance your triangle on the eraser end of the pencil.
