Triangle
- Using a ruler, draw a triangle on one of the note cards
given.
- Take a pen or pencil, and use the ruler to find and mark
the midpoint of each of the sides of the triangle.
- Next, draw a line from each midpoint to its opposite
vertex.
- When this is done, you should have three lines that
intersect at the middle of the triangle. (The point of intersection is the
center of the triangle.)
- Cut out the triangle carefully.
- Then, at the point of intersection, place the eraser end
of pencil.
- Finally, if done correctly, you should be able to
balance your triangle on the eraser end of the pencil.
