Instructions
1. Screw the four pieces of wood together to make a box with the top and one side open.
2. Paint the inside and outside of the box black and let dry completely.
3. Glue or caulk the Plexiglas on the front of the box.
4. Glue the glass down in the middle of the box.
5. Cut a full length slot in the mailing tube. The slot should be wide enough to see the candle frame from a wide angle, about a quarter of the circumference of the tube. This is used to hide the candle when you do the show.
6. Paint the mailing tube black and glue it to the base of the candle so that your audience won’t be able to see the candle from the front.
7. Put the candle in front of the Plexiglas window. You should now see a virtual candle image in the box.
8. Fill the glass cup with some water. Locate the position where the audience can see the candle in the glass and secure the candle in this spot.
9. Optional: Decorate outside of book with glitter and other decorations.
